Stockholm, Sweden 11 September 2025 – CabinAir is proud to see its technology featured in the newly launched Polestar 5, revealed at the IAA Mobility event in Munich. The Polestar 5 Dual Motor – Launch edition package includes the Advanced Air Cleaner (AAC), a solution based on CabinAir’s patented particle charging technology.

With AAC, the Polestar 5 joins a growing line of premium cars benefiting from CabinAir technology, designed to effectively remove ultrafine particles, allergens, soot, and other pollutants, creating a healthier in-cabin environment.

Secret to success

The solution invented by CabinAir combines active particle charging technology with an optimized mechanical filter. This technology gives pollution particles an electrical charge as they enter the system, so they can be trapped in the filter much more effectively than in a passive filter-only system.

The Polestar 5 is now available to order in 24 of Polestar’s 28 markets, with deliveries starting in 2026.
