Lucas Di Grassi Takes Another Step Towards Cleaner Air

Stockholm, June 17, 2021. Di Grassi, the champion-winning FIA Formula E driver and the United Nations Clean Air Ambassador who promotes the importance of healthy air, signed a partnership agreement with CabinAir, a Swedish company which developed a unique two-step technology, a combination of active particle charging technology and mechanical filtration that maintains the health, safety and wellbeing of drivers and passengers. In fact, on-road tests have shown that CabinAir’s Nordzone™ solution removes up to 10 times more pollutants than standard solutions.

“Advancing new technologies and inspiring people’s enthusiasm for the relevance of clean air while driving is an important concern of mine. CabinAir is helping drivers and passengers around the world to stay healthy with their technology - when they are racing or when they are driving with their families.” Says Di Grassi. “Having CabinAir come onboard as my sponsor is a perfect partnership. We are both huge proponents of highlighting the power of clean air, while also using technology to be the best at what we do.”

“Lucas Di Grassi is the perfect ambassador to endorse CabinAir’s technology. All of his work towards a healthier world through mobility, including electric cars and the likes, corresponds with what CabinAir does: we are helping drivers and passengers breathe better air while in the car, says Daniel Hagström, CEO and Co-Founder of CabinAir.

The CabinAir Nordzone™ solution is the world’s most advanced air purifier for vehicles. In addition to the air purifier itself, the Nordzone Air quality monitor and Nordzone app gives you full visibility of the air quality in your car at all times. The Nordzone monitor shows real time in-car air quality data for PM2.5, CO2, and VOCs. In addition, the app displays the outdoor air quality as well. So not only will you have excellent in-cabin air quality, but now you can also plan for “healthy stops” along the road and compare outdoor and indoor air quality. The app also informs the user of temporarily increased pollutant levels inside the vehicle by using colors to indicate the air quality and provides recommendations, tips and tricks on how to quickly return to healthy in-cabin air.

Di Grassi is continuing his effort towards a cleaner and healthier planet with this partnership with CabinAir. CabinAir technology is already factory installed in hundreds of thousands of vehicles world-wide. Nordzone™ solutions for cars already on the road have already been launched in China and will soon be available for purchase world-wide, starting July 2021. Until then, visit https://cabinair.com/.
